There must be something inside Saturn creating this jet stream. Just like the polar jet stream we have here on the earth, it is just a river of gas. It's because any atmospheric systems on Saturn or any of the giant planets that get started up, they don't run down as you don't have a solid surface underneath the atmosphere. So there's no friction to run them down. Once they get started, they continue. The Great Red Spot has been doing there for hundreds of years. That's all I can say. He's just have a perfect little explanation for straight lines and nature.
How much has space imaging furthered our understanding of the Universe? Neil deGrasse Tyson and comedian Chuck Nice learn the story of cameras on space probes like Voyager and Cassini and the exciting science of Saturn with planetary scientist Carolyn Porco.
