For an older adult who presents with dyspnea, which is the bread and butter of most internal medicine practices, unfortunately, the evaluation there is a little bit more complicated. And it's often helpful for me if I'm looking for a diagnosis of induced ballerin gel obstruction in somebody who develops those symptoms during exercise. At least in our lab, we can place a scope that actually directly looks at the vocal cords during exercise to make that diagnosis definitively.
