The Bundies have 160 acres of basically desert in southern Clark County, Nevada. They grow melons, they run a pretty small herd of cattle that they've bred themselves. And they run those cattle on an allotment of the Mojave Desert. Until 1990, when a reptile native to the area was listed as threatened.
