Hiring for a Haskell and Nix Team

i lead a, a haskell and nix team, and we have no issues hiring. Every time we open up a position, we get likelike, maybe at least 20 applicants for sometimes like 50. i actually do not understand how other companies hire people because the thing that i've seen work more effectively than anything else is using non main steve technologies to find new talent. And so few companies are taking advantage of this, like, of the like, using on main stream technologies to hire,. which is often what, what companies will simultaneously cite as their biggest challenges, hiring. But a lot of em don't want to go for it, apparently.
