Is the Biblical Text Giving Us Wisdom?
The problem i am trying to address is what we believe the b al text is doing. What we believe the biblical text is doing has to be informed by understanding the genre and the context in which it was written. That doesn't come because we interpret something. It comes because we, as god's people, a community of god's people,. are carefully reading god's word in order to understand, as best are able, what wisdom would look like or holiness would look like. To day, that's always going to be sort of, have we got it right? Are we doing it the best we can?
