The Role of the Public Sector in Governing the Economy
One of the primary axes of differentiation between various visions of the economy today that I see is the degree to which one thinks that public ownership of anything really should be a part of the equation. We're in a period where these assumptions are being reshuffled a little bit there's a lot more mainstream exploration of the role that the public sector can play in both provisioning goods and services. The best examples of governance at a national scale are the social democracies for example the nordic countries, he says.
