How to Determine Your Risk and Position Size for Each Trade
There's a formula called optimal F and if you put in your trading stats, that'll tell you the optimal position size. But for me, broadly speaking, I don't like to trade more than 8% in a position. My average stock will be what is about 6.5%. If you're taking a 10% position size, you'll risk with a 10% stop as 1% of your total capital.
