Joanna Stern: This movie helped me, a founding member of the child of divorce club, like understand why Steven Spielberg keeps making movies about divorce. She says he pulls quite deftly 50-50 from their experience and trying to recreate what they represented to him as a child. Stern: He spent a lot of time thinking about what roles his parents' psychology played on the kind of man that he became.
