Breathing is the gateway both to sleep and also to concentration because we can calm your inner flexibility. The brain by regulating breathing regulates its own excitability. This was known with people with epilepsy, and I put a chapter in epilepsy. Why not teach that individual to counter the effects of stress? Because when they get into stress, they're naturally going to start breathing faster and harder. Or maybe their everyday breathing is faster and harder, which is feeding into their condition. It's amazing. We have this tool and you're right. This has been overlooked.
