We don't think of fungi in the air but you're bringing this ecological restoration and examination of fungal populations community ecology to the novel environment that is the air. Yeah it's been an interesting transition and I'm definitely have been learning a lot because what's one thing that's really cool is that microorganisms some of them may be active in the air actually having metabolic processes, ice nucleating and using some of these labile are easy to degrade carbon compounds that are in clouds. In years when some of this research is coming to fruition I want to have another podcast talking all about this maybe when I'm in this place where I can even process it but that's incredible.
