The Signs of Tendon Injury

For runners, we both know people might present with a sore sitting bone. The things I listen for are stiffness often at the start of activity that warms up. It's often tied in with a change in workload, so they've gone from not including intensity running to two or three running workouts and hard sessions a week. If you ask someone with Achilles tendon pain to do a single leg hop, it's probably going to be sore. And establishing a diagnosis that's accurate early with tendon injury is crucial.
