How to Speed Up the Transplant Process
Many programs, including our start with a multidisciplinary evaluation where the patient comes to the transplant center and in one big day gets a class. A colonoscopy will speed up the process if you have all your cancer screening doc's notes on file. The PCP knows being super helpful as a fellow, especially when I had to track down all that pre-transplant requirements at night. Also, are you saying that someone actually does read my notes? Sounds like the window. Not just you. It's a treasure.
