The Pectoral of Tutankhamun
Toby Smith: Tutankhamun's tomb is surprisingly small. He says it was probably designed for just a minor member of the administration. The reason why it survived unscathed is because it wasn't a proper royal tomb, he says. Smith: It tells us that 3,300 years ago, ancient Egyptians not only knew of this desert glass, but they were able to send expeditions out there and bring back supplies in order to make their jewelry.
