It just drives all the ego out of you, because you bomb so hard. You learn to not be precious about your own writing. At comedyell, i heard this rumour in the seventies, when the chauffeur started it, the wreathers were so terrible sometimes that alv i think all franklin or tom davis invented a system where there was a little bell,. like a bell when you go into a hotel and you ring for service. And they handed it to the writer whose sketch it was. The idea was if you get like four pages into a 15 page sketch and it's bombing, the writer can just ring the bell, and that’s like
