A team of undergraduate engineers hacked together a retired military humvey rihte. It was supposed to drive 100 miles in the desert, but ended up driving through three fence posts on its way there. And then it got high centered and stuck after getting into soft soil off the side of road. The wheels were just as fast as they could spin at full speed because it was still slightly in touch with the gravel,. So the wheels were melting against the gravel - literally on fire right now.
