What Aristotle Says About Good Poems
Aristotle says that good poetry must plausibly represent what the poet intends to represent. It's not necessarily a flaw in a poem if it represents things as they're not, and if it represents immoral actions. Aristotle is always addressing Plato here; he wrote a work called Homeric Problems.
