The big challenge for Amazon in the third quarter wasn't that their e-commerce was slowing. It was that their higher margin, higher growth, cloud computing and advertising business were starting to feel the negative impact of challenging macroeconomic environment. Tom Ford: I see an opportunity for Amazon to use their first party delivery efforts for all retailers. They could break the duopoly of FedEx and UPS. That's something that 57% of units sold in Amazon were third party. That could grow to 75% over time.
