Many leaders make the assumption that if have hired someone for a job, and if that person comes to them with a set of skills and tools and resources, that they don't need any additional coaching or development. So what kind of time are you spending now when you are working with the people you're working with? Perhaps you're leading folks who are volunteering time with you, worefor your organ ation. And i bet if you look at your time in the recent past, you may not be spending as much time as you could be with people.
