There's a really important distinction between what's healthy striving and what's unhealthy striving. Part of it has to do with even being able to experience the stress and contraction in the body that comes with the pressure to perform. So if we can relate to the task differently, that there isn't so much pressure on you to be performing, then that might change the ease with which we can do the work.
