The Megalithic Maraffon

We started building megalithic structures throughout the neolithic period. There is no obvious, necessary reason to do this like agriculture and sedentary life. It would have required co operation of many individuals to successfully make it happen. All these individuals must have believed in a common goal that was their driving force for creating these seemingly pointless monuments. This suggests the emergence of power. And it is likely that this kind of power would have been required to turn the early villages into significant towns and cities. coming up in volume two of the pokar series.
