What's the Meaning of Being?
It's a completely empty, abstract concept to shove everything into. Schopenhauer just gave us a version of this. We've got ourselves caught in the modern metaphysics of objectivity. Descartes sort of derailed western thinking because he didn't ask the question of what the meaning of being was. And so you end up with people who are taking this metaphysics of subject ity or objectivity and trying to torture the world out of it. I mean, how can you doubt the existence of the dthat doesn't even make sense? Putting yourself in that position just seems ludicrous to me.
