The Story of Angela Davis
Jonathan Jackson, George's little brother, decided to take matters into his own hands. Jonathan was shot and killed by police at the age of 17. This was enough for them to charge her with kidnapping, murder, and accessory. The police were on their way to arrest her, but she got out of dodge. Her photograph was all over the news and her face was even on the cover of Life Magazine next to six words.
