The Power of Meaning

I manufacture meaning by learning something today that I didn't know yesterday and somehow lessening the suffering of others. If you don't otherwise think about creating meaning in your life, then you are susceptible to whatever else is out there that you do not control. Should we care about what happens when we die? Can we just not help caring about it? The people who fear death, I think they fear death because they're born knowing only life. But to fear death, well, consider that if you fear death, you don't want to die.
