Introduction
In the Anglican tradition, we say this is a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. The big problem with the Roman view is it turns the gospel into the law. Most Roman Catholics lay people statistically don't even believe that it's more than a symbol. It's hard to find a modern Roman Catholic theologian who actually believes in what the Council of Trent says about trans-substantiations.
