The Debbs Story

Debb lost his job in an economic panic and decided to leave tarrahote in search of work. He got a job working on a railroad in east saint louis but was shocked by what he found there. Debs watched in horror as a backing locomotive crushed a frond to death. This is a time when there are no safety standards to speak of. Employers are skimping on cheap equipment to save money, even as railroads are expanding so rapidly.
