Why Did Moses Write the Book of Exodus?
Nobody really knows who wrote the book of Exodus. Most scholars think that it was compiled more than written from various traditions over several centuries and then brought together at a later time in Israel's history. We don't know who wrote any of these books and tradition has Moses, but a lot of work,. not just in the modern period, but even going back to medieval Judaism.
