How Much of the Sea Grass Has Been Lost?

92% of the ca sea grass has been lost in the last two centuries, and 39 % has disappeared since the 19 eighties. A hundred years ago, sea glas was being lost because people were removing the last of the oyster fisheries. In the last 30 to forty years, we've lost it because we continue to manage our land pretty badly. We don't manage our farming activities very well. And a, you know, we can do a lot better.
