Iamw: The kind of freedom i want to argue is compatible, were sorry, is incompatible with determinism. Is a freedom that i want to extend beyond the human race to many animals. How are animals possible? Animals seem to be these things that things can be up to. And so i started to think about the freebal problem in that context. I started to think, well, it looks a bit as though animal powers all by themselves s raise interesting issues er, with respect to their compatibility, or incompatibility, witheterminism. You don't have to go that far up the em evolutionary scale to start to think, um, there are interesting metaphysical issues about animals.
