The Role of Non Evasive Positive Pressure Ventilation in Heart Failure

Pulminarydema decreases lung compliance, and patients can compensate by breathing faster at lower lung volumes. A sea pap of five centimeters of water significantly increase the cardiac output,. decrease the pulmonary capulary wets pressure; also reduced to systemic vascular resistance. In some ways, they actually behave similar to many of the cartioactive medications that we might give to patients like this. And so again, positive pressure can have a similar effect as an inotopic agent.
