What Happens When You Hold Your Drumsticks Too Closely?
When you hold your drumsticks too tightly, you are relinquishing control. You need to create an acoustic chamber if you're holding it properly. I'd much rather you be relaxed and drop a stick than over tense. The music actually feels tense because you're grabbing the sticks too tightly. And is that not a metaphor for life?
