OpenSea Transfers Control of Royalty Enforcement Tool to Industry Collective
OpenSea is going to transfer control of the Royalty enforcement tool to an industry collective. OpenSea really strongly believes that royalties should be honored, but they are a key part of the technology that we're building and the business models we're building. They created this royalty enforcement tool called the operator filter registry. And what it does is it says, if that is a part of your smart contract, then your NFT will only be listed on marketplaces that this registry recognizes. It just takes time to get through all these things.
