The Importance of Humor in Family Life
People are really focused when there's a full court press around you 24 seven to throw you off your game. And at times that succeeded, the harassment did cause me to make a mistake one time on when it was broadcast and that was detrimental to what I was trying to do. But we used a lot of humor in my family just to kind of keep it all light and always remember that we had a lot of support staff. The real danger to us was pretty minimal. You know, my wife used to joke when our kids were being followed to school. She said, well, better the government following them than some crazy national us.
