The Law of Rape in Sinagal
Rape was first officially codified as an offence in sinagal in 19 99. Previously, rape was punishable by around five years sentence. To day, it's judged in a different court and that sentence can go from anywhere from ten years to a life sentence depending on the circumstances. So it's a much more severe crime than it was previously.
