In 2012, I was diagnosed with that rare form of melanoma. They put me on a weekly injection of a drug called inner fear on to kind of help keep the disease from coming back. The side effects were severe flu-like symptoms for two to three days every week after each injection. Eventually the inner fear on became so toxic to my body that I had to stop it. Cancer came back in the exact same spot on my foot. My foot amputated in 2018 at my leg amputated in 2020 right in the middle of the COVID pandemic.
