The Importance of Having a to Do List
I used to have the to do list for my contractors. And I always noticed that there was about 10 to 20% of things that did not get done. So what has for me is I give direction and because I'm optimizing for speed 80 20, the directions are probably not 100% clear. One solution has been to just have my contractors tell me what they have done. And I will either fill the gap or mention what the gap was. It becomes a training opportunity.
