i like that you think wells and horses are obsolete, especially a rural island. Apparently, i read that the v h s version of the movie just starts with the ring. Thereis like a psychological thing about being in that space. Same thing with the barn. She drowned in a well in the sixties. What was a well doing? I hate um. Well, but i do think it's resting.
