Asynchronous automation means that things don't have to happen at the same time. So you can break up automation into chunks that happen when it's appropriate. For example, Hazel will drop a file in a folder and then pick it up later entirely. Or there's two things happening at the sametime, potentially, you know, things running in parallel.
