I Was Not Political, but I Was a Civil Surgeon
As a civil servant, i wasn't supposed to be political. I knew where the lines were, but i was wher. Apart from a sort of a rack war, i did find myself agreeing violently with most things that the ministers were doing. When i was at the home office, i worked with paul boit n and jack straw when they did that macpherson inquiry into the murder of stephen lawrence. And i suddenly sot had this movent whet. I thought, i think i'm political, and i think i am with these guys. Ha, ha, ha.
