Dark Knight Rises Isn't Necessarily More Light and Sunny Than Dark Knight

The second movie in a trilogy is traditionally the second film in a trilogy. In Dark Knight rises, the threads really come apart when you try to make this about international terrorism and all this other stuff. Bruce Wayne's biggest foe I think is not necessarily the Joker but it self-doubt and the decision to kind of like think about hanging up the cape and cowl.
