Is There a Signal Noise Problem in the Education Market?
Jeffrey Toobin: Employers use the degree as a signal because we're not quite sure about two things, what real skills are needed to do this job. From an employer's perspective, we're just overwhelmed with and it's a good mechanism to basely say, ok, i'm just going to pick the applicants out with this degree. He says employers are starting to figure out that there is life after college,. And increasingly, they have data on their best employees who really survives and thrives at their firms over the course of time.
