Carbon Offsets
The idea of a giving credit to those who would reduce emissions or remove carbon from the atmosphere that then could be trated to some one else. The system, if it is implemented correctly, can actually be very, very positive because it's driving effective funding to day things like reforestation and forest conservation. It incorporates a line on the pianel of corporations and governments which are incentivized to move away faster from emissions.
