Are There Parallels to the Past?

It's very hard to see what would be a deal that could be acceptable both to russia and to ukraine, as well as allies of ukraine. But the reality is that when you see rhetoric, people talk about how, because prudence is evil, we can't make any concessions toem at all ever. That's just not reality. My reality is that wars don't typically go that way. And i don't see this war ending in an extreme case where it is clearly going to be a victory on the part of  the ukraine and nado against russia.
