The House Tomb at Pisolacos Is a House for the Dead, Not the Living
The house tomb at crisolacos is five times the size of even a large house tomb from the preceding period. It contains at least forty separate chambers, not counting an exterior portico. The palace at paestos was slightly later than the palaces at knasos and malia but clearly influenced by them. So it represented an expression of a new architectural style that encompassed the whole island of crete.
