Anu's Paranoia

Anu's bulimia took a toll on her and Jo's relationship. She was often depressed but I think it was especially hard on Jo when Anu became convinced that she was dying from a number of medical conditions that no doctor could find proof of. Along with Ipicak which is a drug that forces vomiting Anu was also experimenting with amphetamines to keep herself thin. One of the main side effects of amphetamines is psychosis and reports later speculated that her obsession with dying may have been caused by those weight loss drugs. In September of 1997 Anu began telling her friends that she wanted to die by suicide, obtaining a lethal dose of heroin was much easier than trying
