Angus Davison is a geneticist at the University of Nottingham in the UK. He had been looking for a snail who shell coiled counterclockwise for 20 years. Angus named the snail Jeremy and began a worldwide search to find Jeremy a mate. Left coiling snails can only mate with other left-coiling snails.
