I don't believe though that if you have small or even fairly decent spikes in blood glucose every now and then, it's normal. And I don't think there's a ton of damage that occurs from that. We still have a ton of work to do on regards to how harmful glucose spikes are. People worry in the online community that any spike, quote unquote, in blood sugar is bad for them. It's more important to consider the total AUC, the area under the curve.
