I Don't Know a Lot About the Estate Tax
This week, Ant and James talk about changes in the estate tax that Joe Biden has proposed. Polls show Americans viscerally dislike the idea of a death tax but it hits very few people like on the order of one tenth of one percent of tax filers have to pay a state tax. The total amount of tax revenue the federal government collects on the estate tax is less than 1% of the federal budget.
