How to Be a Good Co-Creator With a Director

I like to try and be as collaborative as possible at the start and then beginning. I like to hear his or her thoughts right away on what they're thinking. Like every time I read a script or a scene, you know, obviously there's ideas popping in my head... But by planning it out and prep with the director and just hashing every idea that you possibly can ... Just figuring out the best way to do it helps you make those decisions on set quicker.
