The History of Cancer
The building at 455 Central Park West was the country's first hospital devoted solely to the treatment of cancer. The main smoke stack has been torn down and it was part of the crematorium where they used to burn bodies. A lot of hospitals in the US don't even want to treat cancer patients. Some people feared the disease they thought it was contagious.
