The Matilda's Loss to Canada in the World Cup Is a Blow to the Matildas
The Matildas will have to win against Canada on Monday to be assured of getting into the knockout round. They were up one nil before half time looking good but then Nigeria just hit straight back and then netted two more in the second half, meaning they were up three one. How tragic would it be if Sam Kerr didn't get back on the field after her calf injury and played no part in the World Cup? That is the news we're all hanging on. And there's been a total of five shootings in Sydney in just the last week with two men dying yesterday. New South Wales police have launched a task force called Task Force Magnus to investigate the spate of shootings.
